When the winter season arrives, a van owner has to worry about many different things. It is not uncommon for a van to collect snow, salt, and other debris on the inside and outside. 1. Gather the Necessary Supplies
When the time comes for a person to clean their conversion van, it's a good idea for the owner to make sure he/she has all the necessary supplies beforehand. Make sure you find the right type of soap. It's also a good idea to look for rags and small sheets and have those ready as well. And of course, as you'll be washing your van in the winter, some water proof gloves might just be a lifesaver.
2. Drive the Car to a Car Wash
When the owner of the conversion van is ready to clean, it's an excellent idea to drive to a local car wash. This is a benefit in the winter months - an owner does not have to pay a person to wash the van, and they can also clean it at a their own pace.
3. Wipe the Interior with Sanitary Wipes or Paper Towels
It's not always enough to wash the outside of the conversion van. During the colder months of the year, a driver and his or her passengers may track debris and other outdoor items into their van. Even worse...they may track in dirty, sludgy snow. With that said, wiping down seats and the floor can be a huge step in keeping the inside of your van looking nice during the winter months. 4. Bring a Towel
Sometimes sanitary wipes or paper towells simply won't cut it if a ton of snow gets tracked in. Let's face it. Odds are if you're a van owner, at one point or another you're going to be hauling kids. There is no better culprit when it comes to tracking excessive amounts of snow into a vehicle than a 6-year-old with a sled and snowboots. Thankfully, there's an easy solution. Bring extra towells along. Rather than sitting there trying to figure out how you're going to rid yourself of all the mounds of snow those kids track in, just grab your towel and push it on out the door!
