Why Choose a Conversion Van Over an RV?

When compared to a Class C motorhome or Class A motorhome, a conversion van looks much smaller.  Image may be NSFW.

More and more RV owners, however, are finding making a switch to the smaller size of a class B motorhome, or conversion van, is quite beneficial in a number of different ways.

Conversion vans tend to be more affordable than other motorhomes.  While large class A's can sometimes carry steep price tags, and class C's are still out of reach for many consumers, a conversion van provides access to a wealth of camping activities at less cost.

Not only does a conversion van save money at the dealership, it can also help you save money at the gas pumps.  You can go a lot farther in a smaller conversion van, and fill up less.  And don't worry, even though they are smaller and have less power under the hood than a larger motorhome, you can still tow trailers for boats, motorcycles, ATVs, and the like.

Driving in a conversion van isn't much different than driving an SUV.  In contrast, larger motorhomes are bulkier and more difficult to maneuver in traffic.  Finding a parking space is also kind of a chore.  With a conversion van, you can park anywhere a car, truck, or SUV can!

Conversion vans are very versatile, and can be used for a number of different activities, such as tailgating, long or short-drive vacations, or going to campgrounds.

There are lots of possibilities when you own a conversion van, so the sky is definitely the limit!
