I am always talking about how much I am looking forward to buying a conversion van. People hear how excited I am, and they want to know why I get so enthusiastic about my upcoming purchase.
Here are the main reasons I get a thrill when the thought of getting the keys to my own conversion van enters my mind.
Pilot Seating
To me, there is nothing cooler than the pilot seats in the front of a conversion van. The comfort they offer is outstanding. It is so nice to be able to swivel over and look at my co-pilot or into the back seat. It is great that the passenger front seat is a pilot seat, too. It comes in handy when the navigator needs to swivel around to gain easy access to the back part of the van. It will keep me from having to pull over when we need something from the back.
Space
One of the best things about conversion vans is the vast amount of space that they have. No other van can offer the kind of space that a conversion van does. I cannot wait to load up all my camping gear into my conversion van for that first road trip. We are planning on heading to Yellowstone National Park for our first road trip, and the extra space that the conversion van features will come in handy when we pack it full of all of our equipment.
Great Gas Mileage
One of the reasons I am going with a conversion van instead of an SUV or standard van is the great gas mileage. With the insane prices at the pumps, I need to do everything I can to try to improve the fuel efficiency of the vehicles I drive. The gas mileage offered by a conversion van trumps any other comparably sized vehicle.
Camping Is Easy with a Conversion Van
One of the main reasons I am getting my conversion van is to enjoy camping trips with it. I want a vehicle that allows me to camp inside of it for maximum comfort. A conversion van is perfect for this purpose. I had considered purchasing an RV for my camping trips, but I cannot afford to spend the kind of money they are asking for RVs these days. The conversion van I am getting is one of the most economical ways for me to camp in comfort, snug and off the ground.
